Class Cancellation Policy - Weather or Other Issues

INCLEMENT WEATHER CANCELLATION POLICY:

A decision regarding canceling classes due to inclement weather will be made before 8am on the day of classes. If classes are canceled due to inclement weather, messages will be posted on our website as well as on our business phone line: 301-879-6988, by 8am the day of your class.

If there is no mention of cancellation after 8am, please assume classes will take place as scheduled.

For Monday - Friday classes: if Montgomery County Public schools are closed, we will cancel classes and notify you of the make up date, most likely added on to the end of your winter session. If schools are delayed 2 hours, we will make our own decision by 8am regarding canceling. Please check our website or call our business line.

If we must cancel a class due to teacher illness or some other circumstance:

A group email will be sent to all families in the class[es] with the subject:

PLEASE REPLY TO THIS EMAIL: MUSIC CLASS CANCELED

It is EXTREMELY helpful for families to reply as soon as possible so that we will not need to make phone calls.

Every effort will be made to reschedule any classes we cancel. We ask that you please give us the opportunity to reschedule any canceled classes before scheduling a make-up yourself.
